  My home is 8 years old. On the day that I moved in until today every where in the house and the back porch that the bottom of our feet touch is a disaster! Are you asking why? 1. The builders himself is a crook! 2. The owner of this store helped me pick my flooring which the hard wood is still beautiful. However, the owners son was learning that summer of 2008. I cleaned glue up from all over our floor. 3. The house is on a slab. You would think that a flooring company knows how to lay a floor. DONT USE THIS PLACE! THEIR WORK IS TERRIBLE! The wood expands and contracts. You are able to see between the slats of wood. 4. I picked an upgraded carpeting for the master bedroom. Well, that DIDN'T happen. Between the builder and and the owner of Sternberger Flooring are crooked! I guess they figured out I might not notice. Eight years later it looks like hell! How can you trust this man's business?? 5. I am now getting ready to have my shower floor torn out. The grade of the steam shower was totally off so, what did they do? They redid it by putting one floor on top of the other. What do I have now? I have a steam shower that has leaked and damaged all the trim around the linen closet door, inside and out. All trim needs ripped out! The wrong grout was used for a steam shower! What a mess! 6. My outside porch. Another issue with the grading of the porch! When it rains, the rain doesn't drain off of the porch it runs down toward the door! This company does not stand by their work! THE WORST EVER.
